Ah, cheese fondue is one of my absolute loves. It’s great to gather around friends and family and enjoy in the smooth, tasty and warm cheese with some awesome cheese fondue dippers.
What Do You Need?
Cheese Fondue Ingredients:
Tip: Always have more wine and cheese on hand so you can adjust as you do your recipe. If your cheese fondue is too liquid – add more cheese. If your cheese fondue is to thick – add wine.
Cheese: Emmenthal and Gruyere cheeses are the traditionally cheeses to use with cheese fondue. However you are most welcome to try any cheese that you prefer.
Quantities: For a main meal, aim to serve 200 g (7 oz) per person. For an appetizer, aim to serve 100 g (3.5 oz) of cheese per person.
*Please note that my favorite cheese fondue recipe includes white wine. To make it alchool free and child friendly, simply remove the wine from the ingredients and you still have a great tasting cheese fondue recipe.
